Victoria Falls has long been treated as a short stop between safaris — a night or two to see the Falls, take a helicopter flight, enjoy the Zambezi and move on.
Now open, Albida – Victoria Falls is making a strong case for staying longer.
Part of the Victoria Falls Safari Collection, operated by Africa Albida Tourism, the new boutique retreat features just 13 private villas and introduces an unusually comprehensive all-inclusive format designed to make a Victoria Falls stay both seamless and exceptionally high-value.
The retreat includes 10 one-bedroom Deluxe Villas and three two-bedroom Family Villas, with each offering generous living space, a private terrace and its own plunge pool.
But what really distinguishes Albida is what is included in the flat rate.
Guests receive meals and drinks, butler service, laundry, airport and activity transfers, as well as two included activities per day. And these are not simply small add-ons.
Included experiences can range from helicopter flights over Victoria Falls and spa treatments to game drives and even full-day safari excursions to Chobe National Park in Botswana.
That makes the all-inclusive structure particularly compelling for travellers who want to experience more of the region without constantly adding transfers, excursions, activities and other extras to the final bill.
A guest might spend one day taking a Flight of Angels helicopter ride over the Falls and enjoying a massage, then head out the next day on a full-day Chobe safari — all as part of the stay.

The retreat takes its name from the indigenous Albida tree, known for enriching the soil beneath its canopy. That philosophy extends into the property’s approach to sustainability and conservation.

For travel advisors and tour operators, Albida offers a particularly interesting proposition: a high-end villa product where many of the destination’s most expensive and desirable experiences are already built into the rate.
It is a model that could help shift Victoria Falls from a quick stopover into a destination where travellers can comfortably stay several nights — while knowing that much of what they came to experience is already included.
